The third workshop in the cross-cutting-issue 3 “Ecosystem Services in Water Management” took place in Leipzig (Leipziger Kubus of UFZ) on 6th until 7thof September 2017.
After a welcoming speech and three introducing presentations, the work began with two parallels working groups: 1) nitrogen retention (M.Scholz, C.Schulz-Zunkel, C.Griebler) and 2) system-spanning consideration of ecosystem services (S.Beichler).
Within the working groups input-presentations as well as lively discussions took place. Finally, the workshop results were presented to the plenum followed by an overall conclusion and the discussion of the way forward in QT3.
