Rivers are one of the most exciting and fascinating elements of our planet. Hydrological, morphological, ecological, hydrochemical and other parameters of river systems differ on so many levels, that no two rivers are exactly alike. Even if we prefer rivers to be static systems, they are subject to constant change. This is what makes it so challenging for the water sector to plan and implement sustainable measures for rivers.
